30 Days, Barefeet

Bwanji (hello!)

In the middle of February I will be traveling to Lusaka, Zambia to volunteer with The Barefeet Theatre, a non-governmental organisation that uses interactive theatre to empower and inspire vulnerable homeless children. I will have 30 days to complete my project, which will be to work with Barefeet to bring their 2019 Arts Festival to life.

So how did this all come about? It was all through the power of The International Exchange (TIE). TIE is a fantastic initiative that places professionals from the developed world on life-changing, month-long placements with charities and social enterprises in the developing world.

Their mission is to change the world, one brief at a time.
